Team Lead / Animator – Staffs Uni Collaboration Project

Clean Slate is an infinite wave based shooter developed over 7 weeks during the Staffs Uni Collaboration Project game jam.

My responsibilities as team lead and animator:

  • Coordinate all departments across the Stoke campus and remote London campus.
  • Delegate sprints, tasks and objectives for departments to meet.
  • Plan team meetings.
  • Rig and animate the enemies and first person hands.
  • Technical animation in Unreal Engine 5.
  • Create custom animations and use Unreal Engine 5 sequencer to render shots for the game play trailer.
  • Create the game play trailer.

Having to manage so much as well as handle all of the animations put me to the test. I learned a lot from this project, especially prioritization and communicating ideas.

Overall the project turned out quite well, the animations are smooth and blend very well.
